How to clean a reusable pet hair remover

A reusable pet hair remover only stays useful if you clear the collected hair and let every part dry before storing it. The Fur Reset has two parts: a double-sided outer brush and a blue detailing insert that nests inside.

After each use

1. Pull the gathered hair off the fabric face and the insert by hand. Do this over a trash can so hair does not fall back onto the sofa or car seat.
2. If residue remains, wipe with a lightly damp cloth. Do not soak the tool or put it in a washing machine or dishwasher.
3. Let both parts air-dry fully. Nesting a damp insert can trap moisture and odor.
4. Slide the insert back into the outer brush so the pair stays together in a drawer or car kit.

What not to do

• Do not use solvents, bleach, or fabric softener on the tool.
• Do not dry it on a heater or in direct high heat that can warp ABS plastic.
• Do not store it full of hair. Packed hair reduces how well the next pass works.
